Paul Brokering, AIA, ASMPThe photography of Architecture is my passion. My formal training is in architecture and I am licensed in four states. Being an architect helps me photograph buildings, the concepts and complexities
I bring to architectural photography the understanding of the elements of design, form, composition, lighting, shadows, texture, scale, space, time, etc. For each project I ask “what is that one image – that captures all the concepts, the feelings and emotion?”
The stronger the photographic image, the better quality the design commissions, in turn, my clients receive. I take every commission seriously and strive very hard to understand each project; to talk about the concepts behind the project and bring that “magic” to the final crafted images, really great images.
Fine Art photography allows me to follow my passions of exploration, discovery and contemplation in the natural world. This work started for me as a sort of therapy and now is the source much of my sanity.
The magic of photography is something I never tire of.
